Problem of the Month

These problems are designed to promote problem solving and encourage students to delve deeper into mathematics. The problems of the month come from a variety of undergraduate subjects and can be used as a prelude to solving the more sophisticated problems that are available in MAA journals such as The College Mathematics Journal and The American Mathematical Monthly as well as those appearing in the Putnam Competition. Solutions appear the following month.
