Call for Presenters for the ISMAA Annual Meeting

Parallel sessions of contributed talks are planned for Friday, March 13th and Saturday, March 14th at the ISMAA Annual Meeting. Anyone may propose a 20-minute presentation on a topic dealing with mathematics or the teaching and learning of mathematics by clicking on the Abstract Submission link.

In honor of the fact that this will be the 100th ISMAA meeting and is happening on Pi Day during the 100th anniversary of the host institution, any speaker who incorporates 100 or pi in their abstract will receive a special pi sticker at registration.

Individuals interested in presenting should submit an abstract (at most one paragraph) with the name(s) of the author(s) via the link above. The priority deadline for submission is February 10, 2020, with rolling acceptance until February 28, 2020.

NOTE: Graduate students are encouraged to also apply for the Outstanding Graduate Research Exposition Award (OGRE) if they are presenting.


Call for Student Presenters at the ISMAA Annual Meeting

Parallel sessions of student contributed talks are planned for Friday, March 13th and Saturday, March 14th at the ISMAA Annual Meeting. Any undergraduate student or group of students may propose a 15-minute presentation on a topic dealing with mathematics or the teaching and learning of mathematics. The talk may summarize a class project, a senior thesis, or a research project.

Students are also encouraged to apply for the Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Research (OUR).
