The 27th annual Iowa Collegiate Math Competition was held on Saturday, March 20, 2021. We had 16 teams from 7 different institutions participating. Due to pandemic restrictions we were not able to assemble at one location, instead teams worked remotely or in-person at their home institutions. This year's problems were set by Elgin Johnson, the original founder of ICMC in 1995. The winner of the 2021 ICMC is Luther College, whose team of John Kelly, Suman Chapai, and Minh Nguyen scored 77 points. The University of Iowa took 2nd place with 54 points, followed by another Luther College team in third place with 53 points. Also participating (some with multiple teams) were ISU, Coe, Loras, Wartburg, and Graceland. Congratulations to all participants! The traveling trophy will be awarded to Luther College at the next Iowa MAA meeting.
