  • Registration for the Fall 2012 Ohio MAA Workshop: Setting up a WeBWorK Course on Your Campus, presented by Barbara Margolius and Felipe Martins of Cleveland State University 
    • This is an introductory workshop on the setup and use of WeBWorK, the MAA/NSF supported online homework system for mathematics. Participants will learn how to set up their own WeBWorK courses. We will give an overview of WeBWorK resources including: the National Problem Library, the MAA wiki, model courses and instructor tools. Participants will learn how to write basic WeBWorK problems. Bring a laptop with wireless capability.
    • The workshop will be held immediately after the conclusion of the regular Fall Section Meeting at Baldwin-Wallace University on Saturday, October 20. The registration fee is $25 and includes a boxed lunch. Participants must preregister by Friday, October 12, and should bring checks payable to Ohio Section MAA with them to the workshop. Please note that preregistration for the workshop is separate from preregistration for the Fall Section meeting. On-site registration may be permitted if space allows, but we cannot guarantee a lunch for on-site registrants. Lunch will be 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm, and the workshop will be 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Both will be in CIG 107/108. Box lunches will be available there at 12:30 pm.
