2016 Joint Annual Meetings
The annual joint meetings of the MAA-Florida Section and FTYCMA will be held on February 26-27, 2016 on the campus of Saint Leo University. We invite talks (either 20 minutes or 45 minutes in duration) and workshops or special topic sessions (105 minutes) from mathematicians in the State University System, the Florida Community College System, and the state's private colleges and universities. Graduate and undergraduate students are also invited to participate.
Those who wish to be considered for the program talks or workshops should send their name, institutional affiliation, title, and an abstract of one hundred and fifty words or less to the Florida Section's Vice-President for Programs, Monika Kiss, and indicate a talk or workshop and its duration. This information should be sent via e-mail as Word or LaTeX attachments. Deadline for submission is December 10, 2015.

When you enter Saint Leo at the main campus entrance, you will come almost immediately to a roundabout. Take the first road to the right and follow signs for parking. There is a parking garage along the way which displays how many spaces are left in the lot. If there are spaces available feel free to park there. Otherwise continue to follow the signs past the baseball/softball fields to the overflow lot (up by the tennis courts at #42 on the map).
From the parking it is about a five to ten minute walk back to the center of campus. Registration will be ongoing in Kirk 122.
Our first plenary is in the Boardrooms (in the Student Community Center, #40 on the campus map) at 2pm with the welcome at145pm. Kirk Hall (#19 on the map) is one of the buildings adjacent to the roundabout at the entrance to campus. The boardrooms are north of there (walk towards the clocktower and past it to the next building) in the Student Community Center. For those with meetings in SAB117, that is the Student Activity Building (located at #39 on the map) which is attached to the clock tower at the middle of campus.
