SECTION ACTIVITY GRANT PROGRAM
- Applications for Section Activities Grants are accepted by the Section Secretary on an on-going basis.
- Proposals may request up to $500; matching funds are preferred, but not required.
- Proposals must be clearly tied to one or more of the Rocky Mountain Section Mission Goals .
- All applications must include the following:
- Description of project (no more than one page);
- Statement of how project supports Section Goals (no more than one page);
- Estimated budget, including description of matching funds available, if any;
- Vitae of project director(s); the project director(s) must be a current member(s) of MAA.
- Upon completion of the project, the director(s) of the funded projects are required to:
- file a brief report (no more than one page);
- present a project report at the next meeting of the Section.
- Applications will be reviewed by two non - officer members of the Section;
final funding decisions will be made by the Executive Committee on the basis of the reviewers’ reports.
- Although applications are accepted at any time, notification of funding decisions may take up to two months following receipt of application by section secretary.
