John Petro and Yousef Alavi (WMU) are in the process of revising and updating the History of the Michigan Section. Originally published in December 1985 and updated in May 1990, this latest update of the History of the Michigan Section will be published in April 1999 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the first meeting of the Michigan Section, which was held on April 3, 1924 in Ann Arbor. One feature of this latest edition is that pictures of individuals and events will be included to the extent possible. The authors solicit pictures of former officers and of special events, as well as stories and anecdotes for inclusion in the history.
