On Saturday, February 15 the University of Michigan-Dearborn will host the Fifth annual Michigan Undergraduate Mathematics Conference, MUMC. We anticipate 150 participants from Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Nebraska. The focus of the conference is approximately thirty-five 15-minute presentations by undergraduates on their mathematical research. In addition there will be presentations by graduate programs, REU sites, and industry. The keynote speaker is Arthur T. Benjamin, a professor of Mathematics at Harvey Mudd College and the winner of the Deborah and Franklin Tepper Haimo Award for Distinguished College or University Teaching of Mathematics, awarded by the MAA, 2000.
