Positions Available

All openings are for Fall 2003 unless otherwise stated, and further information is available from the department.

Eastern Michigan University (http://math.emich.edu/new.html) has a tenure track faculty position for a mathematician or statistician who is interested in directing our actuarial program as well as teaching a variety of mathematics and/or statistics courses.

Ferris State University was approved for three new tenure track positions for the Fall. Unfortunately, there is now a budgetary driven freeze on the hiring of new personnel. It is possible that there will be an exception made to the freeze, perhaps for one or more positions. Grand Valley State University (http://www.gvsu.edu/math/jobs.html) anticipates filling tenure track positions in Mathematics and in Mathematics Education as well as a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowship in Mathematics or Mathematics Education.

Hillsdale College (http://www.hillsdale.edu/jobs) has two positions available, one in applied mathematics and one in mathematics.

Hope College (http://www.math.hope.edu/position.html) will have three positions, pending administrative approval, one in statistics and the other two open to all areas of mathematics.

Northern Michigan University (http://math.nmu.edu) is seeking two tenure track assistant professors in mathematics.

Oakland University (http://www.math.oakland.edu) has one opening this year, for a biostatistician, or a statistician with training in areas related to biostatistics.

University of Detroit Mercy has an opening for the Spring at the Assistant or Associate level.
