KSMAA Supports Project NExT Fellows

Department chairs are encouraged to contact the KSMAA section officers to seek additional travel support, when they have a new hire who would like to be a Project NExT fellow. KSMAA section officers have the discretion to support travel for Project NExT Fellows up to $500 per person at the time of application.


Annual Meetings

The 2021 KSMAA annual meeting is tentatively scheduled for March 26-27, 2021 at Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS.

The invited speaker for the meeting is Dr. Talithia Williams (Polya Lecturer).

The MAA Board visitor will be Dr. Hortensia Soto.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing practices, the 2020 Spring KSMAA meeting was cancelled.

Thanks to all who had submitted talks and to the people that worked so hard in the planning process, especially meeting host Nick Hein of Benedictine College.

The 15th Kansas Collegiate Math Competition is scheduled to be held with the Spring 2021 meeting at Bethany College.
