Perhaps if mathematics were taught with the framework that Stueckle proposes, we would less often hear the disheartening response given to Lang. But to do so would require that we believe that mathematics is beautiful. Do we think that math is beautiful? Something drew us to it. This thought led me back to another quote from Palmer.
