"Making Beautiful Music in the Mathematics Classroom" Part I     by Matt DeLong

It is interesting to me as I reflect on this that the very same components and cycle are at play when I run a choir rehearsal with my church choir. Our most successful rehearsals occur when the singers come initially motivated, I have them actively involved in the music, we make tangible progress on learning the music, and they can attribute their progress to their own hard work and participation.
