Graduate Student Grants for the ISMAA Annual Meeting

ISMAA (Illinois Section of the Mathematical Association of America) Graduate Student Grants give graduate students the opportunity to come to the annual meeting of the ISMAA at a greatly reduced cost. Not only will the ISMAA waive the registration fee and cover banquet expenses for qualified graduate students, but the ISMAA will also award a $50 travel stipend. Graduate students may choose to use the $50 for housing or travel expenses; they may also use the student housing available at the conference (typically with undergraduate students at the host college).

At the annual meeting, graduate students may choose to present talks on their research. They can also hear a panel discussion on the job interview process at various types of institutions across Illinois and meet mathematicians from across the state.

This year's meeting will take place at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, on Friday April 7and Saturday April 8. Registration and program details are available at
