Early Career Teaching Award
The Early Career Teaching Award of the Florida Section of the MAA, first presented in 2023, was established to honor a full-time faculty member from a Florida college or university at the beginning of their career. This annual award recognizes a faculty member whose teaching in the Section has been outstanding and whose effectiveness in teaching is shown to have influence beyond their own classrooms. The awardee must have taught at least two years, but not more than a total of seven years, at a Florida institution.
