The Suncoast regional meeting was held on December 1, 2006, at the Hillsborough Community College (Brandon campus). There were 137 persons attending the conference, which featured four sessions with a total of 20 presentations, a plenary session, and a dinner banquet.

Dr. Kuiyuan Li announced that there will be a meeting of the West Florida Region at UWF in the fall of 2007.

The First Coast meeting, which was to be held at Flagler College on March 11, 2006, was cancelled.

The Goldcoast Region did not have a meeting in 2006.
